About Ox
I, BowTiedOx, is a former Army Ranger, bodybuilder, lifetime athlete in wrestling, football, weightlifting, current writer of the #1 Ranked Substack in the fitness/health and bodybuilding/physique space.
Before I get asked, BowTiedOx is his pseudonym I came up with as part of the larger “BowTied” community to retain my anonymity required during my time as active duty special operations.
I have been training for athletics since being able to walk, built his body to be resilient and perform at the level to make it into Army Special Operations and perform the job at a high level, and in his free time been bodybuilding for over a decade.
As the age of 18 I set out to start my career in the health and fitness space by becoming a certified personal trainer at the largest gym in the region and in some capacity been coaching clients until becoming full-time almost 5 years ago.
I have an obsession for anything relating to health and fitness, and this obsession has lead me to acquire a very particular set of skills, skills I acquired over my career. These skills make me a huge resource for you!
